Well its been another year or so and I just remembered the server, mod, etc.. Just dropping in to say hi. Also just wondering who is still left in this ghost town of a forum (hehe). It's been a long time.

yes, the thread is called nippers_opus, really only because I couldn't think of a good name so I picked one of my favorite old maps (that was also just crazy and strange)... On another random note has anyone tried out killing floor yet? Its really addicting...

It's nice to see people miss the server. It will be back someday. I'm working on getting some C++ schooling.

I'm still here. Still waiting on a release of the linux version. Hopefully Circus or Wuh will take over since I refuse to work with Maban after he started stalking me over the internet (seriously and literally).

Not really sure how I was stalking you but anyway, I will be taking a college programming course starting this month. Hopefully I will learn quickly.

Quick edit here. Looks like I won't be getting said college course. The program that was funding my college went over budget.

-it's more like the other way around.

-i recently tried the mod again and still have the same problems as before. I'm guessing the mod won't be working any time soon. I'm not blaming you for not being able to fix it. If you want I can try to make a mod just like it from scratch, but I'd need to know whats all in mod first. Like gameplay, commands ect, not source code necessarily.

I just got word Thursday that I indeed will get that programming course. I will do my very best to learn as quick as I can.

Also aren't you familiar with eventscripts too? Most of the stuff in the mod can be done with eventscritps and stuff without having to know C++

The last time I was familiar with ES was back when there were separate event cfg's. Perhaps next session (Fall) I could take Python and more in depth C++.

Ah that would be a long time ago. Also the older eventscripts language still works where python isnt required.
